The thing I dislike about illustrator is that it is part of Adobe whicch is both a blessing and a curse, as they are a monopoly, you pay premium for a subscription. There are cheaper alternatives. Adobe regularly updates the software which is also good / bad. After updates it's common to find a favorite function has changed, or the UI has changed and you have to search online to fine where a commonly used button moved to.

I wish there were a way to combine that feature; moving one item\ by selecting the item vs the layer is much easier. The only downside I see about using Lightroom is the way that LR processes X-trans raw files from Fujifilm cameras. There can be some worming, depending on the subject matter (specially with grass). It's not too big of a deal to make me change, butit's something to take into account when editing.

I have pretty decent hardware but still it takes much time to launch the home. -Pricing is very high, they should introduce a lower end subscription plan as well. -Ai web is good but it still has a lot to go, needs advanced features such as 3D & materials, history panel.
