I like the ease of using Lightroom. When you first open it is a lot to take in, but is user friendly and enables you to get to work quickly. It can be used at a base level for startup users or can be used in very advanced features and edits. The versatility is definitely something that I think is a plus for Lightroom.

I wish that there were more dynamic presets for photo editing that came out of the box. There seems to be basics there, but I would like some more robust presets without having to buy those from third parties.

I am a communications director therefore photos play a large role in my job. I like the quick editing process of import, using presets to edit, and export. I also have benefitted from the ease of organizing files within Lightroom. I am very meticulous about how I name and organize things. Lightroom enables me to continue to keep the naming nomenclature the same and properly integrated in the workflow.

I like the ability to copy and paste adjustments to a whole library of photos with ease. It saves on time and makes editing way easier. The other positive is that I can apply these adjustments directly to the raw images , instead of having to export as a psd or tiff and then adjust them.

I still end up using photoshop for detailed retouching jobs anyway, so this is more of a good way to do basic adjustments across the board. It would be amazing if Lightroom and Photoshop we're merged somehow, so I can do more detailed edits within the same program, instead of using two.

Helpful in organizing photos and very useful in tethered shooting. Shooting products is much easier with this feature and it saves it into the same library the retouched photos go, which is helpful. We do a lot of shooting for flyers and web usage, so having this tool as a way of shooting, organizing and editing all in one place is fantastic.

Import options, range of features, power of imaging processing.

Cumbersome when dealing with hundreds of images. Takes a while to load images. Difficult to find older photo sets and their alterations.

-Lightroom is not too difficult to navigate for those who are just starting out -Selective coloring features allow for easy color correction

-Watermarking photos during the exporting process does not always work as promised

-Quick photo manipulation and color correction tools, fast import speed, the option to import mass amounts of images at once = Efficient 24-48 hr turnaround for edited photos, making them accessible to clients who utilize them and re-post these images on social media

They keep releasing updates for it with new features. The interface is nice and easy to use.

I wish there were some features of photoshop in the app, so I wouldnt have to switch apps while editing

They polish your photos and make everything look more professional. You can use the presets to make all the images similar in color as well.

Adobe Lightroom is a fantastic program. I love the way you can totally transform a photograph. You have such great control in this program. I also really appreciate the way in Adobe Lightroom that you can batch photos and flag photos. This really helps me organize my "good" photos and export the photographs I want to export.

The only part of the program that I dislike is that the program occasionally doesn't recognize an SD card I have in my computer, or can't seem to find the folder of photographs on my desktop that I want to import. For the most part, however, I can import the photos just fine.

I am creating high quality photos for my company and helping to create a stronger brand, with high quality photos. The benefits I have found is that if I don't always have my camera setting just perfect, I can always adjust and use Adobe Lightroom to tweak my photos and make them look fantastic.

The ability to work with multiple images at once. Lightroom allows you to manipulate a series of images with a click of a button, which makes working with photoshoots much easier than doing everything through Photoshop.

There are some funky ways Lightroom handles collections and files that I still find a bit tricky to work with.

We do numerous photoshoots in-house, so Lightroom allows us to handle those with relative ease.

Se trata de un software líder en el caso de profesionales de la fotografia, tiene un funcionamiento potente pero sin embargo no requiere de grandes requerimientos en cuanto al hardware. Es posible realizar cualquier tipo de ajuste sobre la fotografía en RAW, y sin embargo el flujo de trabajo es no destructivo, permitiendo la trazabilidad completa del trabajo y la vuelta a cualquier estado anterior si es necesario. Permite trabajar fácilmente con varios archivos sin demasiados problemas en equipos razonablemente potentes.

El enorme abanico de opciones que ofrece lo convierten en un software con cierta complejidad en su manejo y, por otro lado, posee muchas características que nunca van a utilizarse, tales como 3D, retoque de vídeo, gráficos vectoriales, etc. En el caso de ajustes complejos, mas detallados, o en el caso de montajes fotográficos, es mejor recurrir a otro tipo de software.

Favourite aspect is the intuitive easy to use straightforward edit and setting controls in Photoshop Lightroom with very little learning curve, even for hobbyists and simple tweak editors alike!

Adobe Lightroom helps me to improve my portfolio and they also have a mobile app that is very convenient for me as a user to use the LR.

It is very easy to use nad coordinate specially for begginers i used it for editing my photos to pit on 500C website and also for instagram pictures

It may be frustrating to understand the concept and navigating at begining but the more you work mornthe easier it gets

That is a payment software and not cheap.

It has multiple benefits, but above all it makes tasks much easier.

Just what the title says. As a new user to Lightroom, I love how I can use presets to my pictures and edit within minutes all while keeping everything uniform. Batch uploading of pictures is a great feature as well

Learning to use lightroom can be a bit daunting to a new user. Also it can take some time using batch uploads and slow down your computer.

Lightroom is a simpler, photographer oriented photoshop. You can make the slightest changes or make just a few large changes to each or a set of photographs. You can make presets so that a whole shoot of photos are changed which makes things go quickly.

It can be difficult to figure out what looks good for each photo and the search function is not he best.

With Lightroom all my photos look great which helps with ads.

My favorite thing about Adobe Lightroom is the ability to quickly mass-edit all the raw photos. I love having one place I can quickly access and do everything that I need to do! As a full-time freelancer, speed and efficient workflow are the most important aspects in post production, so I love the ease and accuracy of editing that Lightroom provides. It's extremely accurate, clean and quick.

The main thing I dislike about Lightroom is how the bin/add photo toolbar is on the right and the editing tools are on the left. I get why it's that way, but my computer screen is large and I don't like how my attention has to shift from side to side.

The main business problem I solve with Lightroom is workflow efficiency. It allows me to get my photos in, edit them seamlessly and cleanly, and get out. It allows me to keep the original raw photos if I ever do have extra editing to do, but I can also save them as final .jpgs when I send to clients for review. It allows me to do everything I need to quickly in one place at one time.

Lightroom helps me manage, catalog and coordinate photographs. It's like a virtual card catalog so I can reference, find and manipulate photos.

It's a bit overwhelming at first. But a few tutorials and you'll be fine.

We create a ton of content and I need to find it fast and simply. Sometime I need to change something simple too Lr makes it easy!
