I like how versatile it is. You can do almost anything in there. You can work on drawings, photos, and even videos. You're almost unlimited. Depending on how proficient you are. I can get almost anything done in it. I do think Lightroom is slightly better at editing photos, Photoshop allows for WAY more creativity. I'm really glad they fixed this text problem they were having since the update.
Sometimes the pixel based artboards are annoying because you can't get clean outcomes on certain things like you would on a vector artboards. Also I wish there was an easier way to deal with artboards like in Illustrator, where you can just create artboards anytime you want. Every update they put out tutorials for the update, and it takes them forever to stop asking if I want a tour or something. Even after I click "No" it still comes up when I start program for a while. Once I click "No" I want to be done.
Any time I have to mock something up. When I need to reduce the size of photos. When I do graphics and artwork for the company I work for.
This is a great affordable platform and an alternative to the creative cloud suite that you purchase online. Ive owned a few different versions of the Elements platform with Elements 10 being my favorite. The thing I like about these products is that they provide the basics in what you need without all the bells and whistles of the full blown program. Theyre much easier to use and understand so the learning curve isn't as hard as creative cloud.
With that being said, its a very limited set of user tools in both Photoshop and Premiere Elements. You can't really do multiple camera edits unless you try to manually sync the audio in Premiere, there is limited transitions and graphics that are built in are kinda cheesy. In Photoshop, it's a bit better, they still give you layers and the ability to easily scale things, but you don't get as many formats to work with unlike the full blown Photoshop.
Been using Photoshop Elements to create basic graphics for Facebook banners, online advertisements and things of that nature. For video production, Elements is better for Facebook videos in my opinion, as long as they don't require a lot of editing, its great for the $100-$149 price point.
The filters, the editors, do not let lose the resolution of the camera, the shutter speed and the versatility of being able to develop in any mobile device. Color palette, easy to understand and adapt to the application. Effects of luminosity, and ease of effects on photos and images. It maintains its ease in edition palettes suitable for beginner photographers who enter the world of professional photography.
On some devices the camera takes longer to shutter, more filters are missing to edit photos. En algunos dispositivos la cámara tarda en el tiempo de obturación, faltan mas filtros para editar fotos
Edition of photos, the edition of professional approach, is efficient, functional, available for any device and is fast. Edicion de fotos, la edición de enfoque profesional, es eficiente, funcional, disponible para cualquier dispositivo y es rápida.
I love that you have unlimited options.
It takes a little while to get the hang of it
I used elements to create beautiful photos for marketing and social media purposes.
Incredibly easy to learn and use - even for those that are unfamiliar with design software.
Can be confusing to navigate through the different windows - particularly in the latest versions.
Allowing more people to edit and design photos, freeing up our graphic design team to work on bigger projects.
Ability to purchase and not have to subscribe, less buttons and less confusing than full version, haze tool is easier to use
inability to separate layers and fully manipulate some parts like in the full version
rendering drawings, enhancing images
There are seemingly endless possibilities. If you can dream it, you can almost definitely create it in photoshop. Photoshop is not something you can just pick up and start using. However, the internet is absolutely laden with video and written tutorials on pretty much any Photoshop task. You are not limited to other design tools by the program, because often there are multiple ways to achieve the desired result.
There is no easy crop tool like most other software. It sometimes drives me crazy that I have to crop things in word or preview then import to Photoshop, but that's the most major flaw in the program in my opinion. Minor flaws include time to master Photoshop. There are endless possibilities, but it can take a long time to learn everything you need to master the program.
Designing visuals and videos are the main problems Photoshop helps me with. Visuals include banners, images for email communications, infographics thumbnails, and videos. Greater interaction with clients would be the most major benefit. When your content is visually pleasing, people are much more likely to engage with you. As a result, we have incredible open rates and click-through rates on our communications. Other benefits include creating better points to your partners via infographics, creating a better user experience for our customers on our web pages, and generating an expectation of excellence within our company for our team.
I love the user friendly-ness of the program. It gives me the ability to do all of the same things one can do on photoshop, but in a much easier, less complicated form.
It can be harder to find online tutorials for the platform, however its easy to adapt photoshop tutorials to the Elements platform.
I use it for any sort of design need that arises. From graphic design, to photo editing, to designing curriculum assets.
I like how easy it is to create renders for my landscape designs. I also like how I only need the Elements version, and how it has so much functionality for a "light" version of the popular software.
It's a little difficult to select complex shapes, which can make using new plants time-consuming.
The design renders help clients visualize landscape plans before purchasing them. My contractor clients have very much appreciated the clarity they can bring their clients via this service.
Creating comps with Photoshop makes presentations easy
Photoshop Elements is not to complicated and not too easy.
I am able to create comps using Photoshop Elements along with Quark Express
It is extremely easy to use and works for multiple colleagues on the go
Nothing, some colleagues were a bit intimidated by it but after using for a few hours now know their way around it
We didnt really have a professional editing software programme, but now we have this it is perfect.
Photoshop Elements incorporates the best of quick fix filters that you would find on an iPhone and a simplified version of more complex tools found in standard Adobe Photoshop. It doesn't take much time to learn the software. I would describe it as Photoshop with training wheels. It also includes very non-invasive tutorials.
Well, as a professional photographer it is nice every once in a while to have quickly editing software such as Photoshop Elements, although sometimes there is a photo that I need to really focus on one area of the photo and unfortunately Photoshop Elements doesn't have the ability to do more complex tasks such as dodging and burning one small area of a photo for example.
It's great for any photos that were either already edited in another program. Also is great for testing how a photo might look if you tweaked it a certain way without having to go through all the tools and tribulations that Photoshop would require.
With this program, you can really manipulate a photo anyway you want from the basics like lightening it and cropping it to moving people around in the image and even adding other people to an image that were not previously there. The tool makes editing photos easier and more complete. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to edit photos.
The product does take some time to learn, so a good demo or training session goes a long way. There are many features the program offers and it takes a decent amount of time to learn them all. If you are not able to get a good demo or training, YouTube has a lot of videos you can watch and learn.
In my line of business we need to edit photos to send to media from various events, as well as create scans of newspapers or magazines to send to clients. It is great to be able to lighten the image, crop it and sharpen it before sending to a client to make it look as presentable as possible.
I like that it is easier to use than photoshop. There are less options but this in turn makes it more user friendly. Adobe does a great job with their software.
I don't not care for the the help portion of the program. If you are having trouble and need to find out how to do something, it can be difficult to troubleshoot.
I am using the program for marketing collateral. The collateral is then used in e-mails and online graphics.
Before Photoshop Elements, I was using Paint Shop Pro Photo and found the transition fairly easy (I had to start using Elements because I would be teaching it and using it at school). The layout on the main screen is easy to use/follow and when you hover your mouse over the icons, its function pops up. Online support as well as well as using the manual/Q&A area that's not online based is easy to use and access as well. I am a working professional and don't have any issues using the programs for many of the basics, and sometimes more, over using the full Adobe Photoshop program.
Honestly, there isn't a whole lot about the program itself that I don't like. It would be nice if the software upgrade cost was a little less at times, as sometimes the differences between the versions really isn't all that much, but other than that, it's an easy to use program.
I'd say the only business problems I'd be solving when using the software is when a photo comes out "not quite right" and I need to tweak it for whatever reason. I also use the software for "non issues" such as putting my studio logo over the photos, other words, and simple changes such as going from color to black and white/sepia/etc.
Simple to utilize Great learning device for amateurs, with cutting-edge highlights for specialists. Imaginative choices for projects. No membership is required. Sidekick video altering programming accessible. really easy to make your editing and design featuristic.
Exchanging between modules hinders the work process. Web and versatile applications at present just deal fundamental capabilities. A few highlights require tweaking to accomplish the best outcomes. I can say nothing about customer support because I still never need it.
I always use it for only photo editing...It is really helpful to edit.
Elements has plenty of power image manipulation tools, a really helpful guidance for beginners, quality image output options, and also can use content-aware and face-recognition related edits! All for a single one-time purchase options that makes things much easier for all with near-ps levels of controls, preset actions like resizing and fx but not to create them
A couple downvotes for the photoshop elements from my side would be to not have a local search, and more than anything- lens correction- (geometry and chromatic aberration) which is a must for even basic users and double tap zooms to fill the window in the organizer's search instead of being able to launch it into the editor
Although i am a hardcore user of PS, PS elements helped me run decent photograph edits without taking a toll or burning through my wallet. The layers, histogram and the control are absolutely helpful and provide a high quality approach to editing
I like many things about Photoshop Elements, but here are a few of my favorites: It's easy to use. Even if you're a beginner, you can learn how to use Photoshop Elements quickly and easily. The software has a user-friendly interface and plenty of tutorials to help you get started. It's powerful. Despite its ease of use, Photoshop Elements is a powerful image editing tool. It has a wide range of features, including photo editing, photo collages, and photo slideshows. It's affordable. Photoshop Elements is a one-time purchase, so you don't have to pay a monthly subscription fee. This makes it a great option for budget-minded users. It's constantly being updated. Adobe is constantly adding new features and improvements to Photoshop Elements. This means that you can be sure that your software is always up-to-date with the latest features. Overall, I think Photoshop Elements is a great photo editing software for beginners and experienced users alike. It's easy to use, powerful, affordable, and constantly being updated.
I don't dislike much about Photoshop Elements, but here are a few things that could be improved: The interface can be a bit cluttered. There are a lot of features and tools in Photoshop Elements, and the interface can be a bit overwhelming for beginners. The selection tools can be a bit finicky. It can be difficult to get a precise selection with some of the tools, such as the Lasso tool. The text tools are not as powerful as those in Photoshop. If you need to do a lot of work with text, you might be better off using Photoshop. The file format support is not as good as Photoshop. Photoshop Elements can't open or save some file formats, such as PSD files.
Photoshop Elements solves a variety of problems for users, including: Photo editing: Photoshop Elements can be used to edit photos, such as cropping, resizing, adjusting colors, and removing blemishes. This can be useful for improving the look of photos or for correcting mistakes. Photo collages: Photoshop Elements can be used to create photo collages, which are a great way to combine multiple photos into a single image. This can be useful for creating memories, for sharing photos on social media, or for creating promotional materials. Photo slideshows: Photoshop Elements can be used to create photo slideshows, which are a great way to share photos with others. This can be useful for presentations, for weddings, or for other special occasions. Organizing photos: Photoshop Elements can be used to organize photos, which can be helpful for finding and managing your photos. This can be useful for keeping track of your photos or for sharing them with others. Basic graphic design: Photoshop Elements can be used for basic graphic design tasks, such as creating logos, flyers, and other marketing materials. This can be useful for small businesses or for individuals who want to create their own designs. I personally benefit from Photoshop Elements in the following ways: I can easily edit my photos to improve their look and feel. I can create photo collages and slideshows to share my photos with others. I can organize my photos so that I can easily find them. I can use Photoshop Elements for basic graphic design tasks. Overall, Photoshop Elements is a powerful and versatile photo editing software that can be used to solve a variety of problems. It is a great option for beginners and experienced users alike.
It's a very good tool for the beginners who wants to learn picture editing.
There are lots of important features which h are missing from the tool for e.g. Lasso, Magic wanddodge tool etc.
It has few features which are not there on photoshop. Features like moving photos with animationadjust facial features etc.
I like the most is editing my photo in different styles like how I like those and those photos are very helpful to me to upload in my social apps like Instagram and other social media's.
It has less elements in photo editing process whe compared to other apps of photo developing. Not enough of styles and other texting styles and background images should want more
Some lagging of will goes sometimes when I want to download, use it lags sometimes more time will takes to wanted productivity of interested one. Some elements are similar as but in options are like two or three
