"AirTable es básicamente exactamente lo que necesitábamos para la investigación, la gestión de equipos y nuestro WordPress sitio"
que es lo que mas te gusta de Airtable?

AirTable is terrifically smart, with a user-focused design and interface that is truly impressive. It is already great, and I look forward to seeing it get even better over time. - An intuitive interface, which allows me to get new part-time student volunteers up, running, and collaborating on AirTable with minimal training on my part - WordPress website compatibility (info we save on AirTable can show up instantly on our WordPress-based website, showing exactly the fields we specify) - Control over info (I decide which info gets shown on WordPress from a base; I decide whether other collaborators can add columns, I can grant access to some bases but not others or to an entire workspace, etc.) -An amazing array of hugely useful options for organizing information, with both easy pre-packaged options (choosing a certain type of column display) along with higher-end, customizable database type features (i.e., linking across records). - Color coding (along with the option to turn it off) and other useful visual features, which helps me focus on key info - The ability to save images and documents with each record, with super fast and easy drag & drop functionality

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de Airtable?

*** 1 *** I don't like that pro and premium users have to pay for each Workspace they use, rather than just getting premium access to AirTable. I like to organize my information, and separate out different projects. That is important to me. But I can't put spreadsheets for a different project into a separate workspace, or I will get charged double for it. That is annoying, because I suspect that few people are really paying double, triple, etc. for AirTable premium access. They are just having to give up on organizing their AirTable bases, and then granting access to collaborators to individual bases instead of workspaces. I wish that AirTable would rethink that, because it doesn't seem to be putting the customer first. *** 2 *** To be able to make key info within a given cell stand out visually, I want to be able to bold or color certain words, as one can in an Excel spreadsheet. That is not possible in AirTable. *** 3 *** I would like to have more text wrapping and associated row height options and controls for key fields. *** 4 *** I want to be able to have "bases" talk to each other (i.e., reference information about team members from a different base to link to records in another base.) If bases can't be better programmed to talk to one another, I would like to have the option to automatically copy the content from one table into another base, to serve essentially the same function, albeit less efficiently. *** 5 *** My needs are very image heavy (i.e., uploading many docs and photos), and I would like to have an export option that exports the photos/docs, and not just text. Among other things, it would make me feel better about being able to save a full backup locally. *** 6 *** Display options on iPads and mobile devices are currently pretty limited, so less useful for our team management bases (for example, to do lists.) I hope they focus on improving that for the future. *** 7 *** I can see how a per user pricing model works for corporate uses, where each user might spend a significant amount of time on AirTable. However, many non-profit and educational institutions often have a lot of workers who each work a small number of hours per month/year. Even with non-profit/educational pricing (which I appreciate), the per user costs are still pretty high. I wish that the non-profit/educational discounts could involve an option to pay per base, or pay per workspace rather than per user in each workspace -- with everyone (or up to a certain number, say 10 users) having editing privileges rather.

¿Qué problemas hay? Airtable resolver y cómo te beneficia eso?

I am engaged in a non-for-profit social enterprise, leading a team of students in a social good project at a university. AirTable allows me and my team of students to: A) organize content-rich data along with associated documents (i.e., titles and abstracts of research studies that we share with others doing research on those areas, while attaching PDFs of the articles for our internal, university use only) B) Our WordPress site automatically pulls the fields I want over into our website, with full read-only search, filtering, and sorting capabilities by users. There is almost no time lag in the transmission of that information to the website. 3) I will be moving most of my student team management tools (to do lists, contact lists, dates of employment, etc.) to AirTable, so it will be one-stop-shopping for keeping track of both of the logistical aspects of the team's work, and much of their research and associated output.

que es lo que mas te gusta de Airtable?

When I find myself in a difficult situation, Airtable is the tool that always saves me. After struggling to manage my projects for clients and teammates as well as working on improving how I work with other users of this software who inspire me through their use; it's clear that there are so many features offered by Airtable which make managing content simple. The benefits you will enjoy when using these templates include Live Links, Attachments within your files to keep your team connected at all times along with grouping sections together making them easy and efficient! Airtable is the best tool for planning content on a team. I love being able to view other templates from their users, and it has helped me learn new ways of working. The calendars created can be viewed by clients or teammates alike which gives you superpowers when managing projects! I could never find the right tool for my projects, but then I found Airtable. It gave me superpowers and helped me get things done more efficiently! The templates they have inspired new ways of thinking about how to organize content which has made managing other people's projects much easier.

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de Airtable?

I know that there are some people out there who would love to be able to add more than one person for feedback, but I think it's not worth the extra fee. It can get expensive and sometimes you want advice from someone else without having them added on your base. My suggestion is just charging a pro account by the owner alone because then everyone benefits! What do I dislike? When I have a pro base anyone added requires additional credit./ That is unfair because sometimes I want to get feedback from someone but once they are added to the base it cost an additional fee. My recommendation would be a pr base should be charged by the owner alone and

¿Qué problemas hay? Airtable resolver y cómo te beneficia eso?

Airtable is a phenomenal tool for creating content calendars and managing projects. The templates are well-organized to perfection, so I can always find what I'm looking for with ease. Plus the ability to view other users' tools has been really helpful in learning how others tackle certain problems! Airtable is a great tool for managing projects and it has been incredibly helpful in getting organized. It provides templates that are easy to edit from other users, which allows you to get creative without having to scramble around looking for where the content should go. I've found its layout intuitive when organizing my project tasks, as well as being able have an overview of what needs doing at all times by scrolling down through each column on the table view screen and seeing everything laid out visually before me!

"Robusto y flexible: ¡Airtable es un sueño!"
que es lo que mas te gusta de Airtable?

Airtable's spreadsheet look and feel gives users an immediate comfort that no other database software offers. The intuitive nature of the software has also meant a much shorter learning curve. The bases we embeded in our website are very easy for our membership to find what they are looking for quickly. And, sharing a link to a form so that new data can be uploaded has simplified and shared the workload.

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de Airtable?

The Page Designer needs to be more robust. There should be a price point between Pro and Enterprise or a way to add storage and # of records for an additional fee.

¿Qué problemas hay? Airtable resolver y cómo te beneficia eso?

We were looking to provide the storage and query capabilities of a database to our organization at a cost effective price. Airtable solved our problem at a much better price point than the competition. We were using another database which took a programmer to set up and maintain. Airtable can be set up and maintained by a volunteer with very limited technical training.

"Usuario ávido de AirTable durante más de un año"
que es lo que mas te gusta de Airtable?

The price of AirTable to get started is free. That's bonus #1. The grid view is really easy to use, and is like having a Google Sheet or Excel spreadsheet on steroids. I use AirTable for a number of use-cases. Firstly, with my own customers, I build people's websites together on Zoom so they can learn how to do it themselves at the same time. Part of each project is preparation. I have a whole checklist set up on AirTable that I share with my clients to fill out and follow, step by step, before we do our 1:1 call. AirTable updates in real-time and therefore I can see their progress and collaborate. I am able to send them an invite and control what they can do with the grid as well. There is options to upload videos, pictures, logos, type text, include URLs, and lots of other things like that which makes it a really powerful way for me to manage my 1:1. I have literally 100s of these grids set up with my 1:1 clients. Secondly, I have my own projects that I manage. For example, I have an internal grid that I use with AirTable for people who want to get a free consultation on what software/platform to use for their online business (i.e. courses, membership, funnels, email marketing, etc). AirTable lets you create a questionnaire / form, and they can fill out the answers. Once they fill out, I set up an automation where they receive a thank you email and an invitation to book a call with me. The answers are emailed to me and also added to a spreadsheet on the same AirTable grid. My entire software free consultation process and systeme is on AirTable. There are other use-cases, but you get the idea. I have a YouTube video I recorded to give a taste of how I use AirTable, in case you want to see more. https://youtu.be/SQRklyHGWE8

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de Airtable?

The pricing is a double-edge sword. I love the fact that it is free! But to be honest, I'd happily pay something for it considering I am an avid user. However, the way their pricing model works it's really not designed for a solopreneur like me - it's designed to accommodate for big corporate companies which makes it not feasible for me to be a paying subscriber. For example, a competitor called "Bloo" has a simple flat fee of $50/month. That's way more reasonable for a solopreneur like me versus what AirTable would charge for the paid features. I am also not a big fan of the other table views, perhaps I have not figured out how to use them properly. The grid view and the form is what I love AirTable for, and the rest I find not as user-friendly on a personal level (although it doesn't bother me as the grid view is fine).

¿Qué problemas hay? Airtable resolver y cómo te beneficia eso?

Organizing my business plans in one place. Having a really user-friendly and intuitive and collaborative tool to work with my private 1:1 clients. Having a streamlined system to collect information for people wanting to get a free software consultation with me. You can see an example of the questionnaire and that process on this page: EranFunnels.com/software

"Colaboración global en equipo"
que es lo que mas te gusta de Airtable?

Working across two continents (US and Africa), Airtable has simplified our team's workflow. Trying to manage our project via email had become burdensome and was truly untenable in terms of reviewing and editing draft documents. This has allowed our team the ability to complete tasks more quickly and avoid the "lost in email" problem that is so common in team projects.

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de Airtable?

For the type of non-profit work we are doing, I would have preferred to save a bit of money by upgrading to the Plus plan (with educational discount), but we decided to pay the additional cost for the Pro plan. Ultimately, I am glad we did, but in the realm of global education, it is important to manage costs. The Pro plan's features certainly are powerful and worth the additional expense.

¿Qué problemas hay? Airtable resolver y cómo te beneficia eso?

Improved time management!!! All team members are accountable and engaged.

"Servicio al cliente deficiente y software caro"
que es lo que mas te gusta de Airtable?

My company loved Airtable up until the past few months, when pricing no longer matched the level of service or software reliability. Airtable had helped my business quickly scale almost every aspect of our business while providing just the right visibility to different stakeholders. We loved the Automations add-ons, especially how easily we can connect it to services like Gmail, Slack and Dropbox, so all of our team members have timely information. However, recently we've had a lot of app connection issues and billing issues. Despite weeks of follow-up with Airtable, the software issues were never addressed in a timely manner; and in the most important issue (which resulted in $7,000 in sudden unauthorized charges to our credit card), we were scolded by the customer service team for requesting a timely update and then ignored completely despite multiple tickets filed. We've been moving most of our automations out of Airtable now and are evaluating software that can scale with us in a more cost-effective and stable way.

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de Airtable?

Lack of follow-up from Support and the general "we're drowning over here!" tone that comes across whenever we do get a response. It does not provide confidence that this is a platform that can scale with our business.

¿Qué problemas hay? Airtable resolver y cómo te beneficia eso?

We use Airtable to consolidate information from a ton of different sources -- clients, vendors, invoicing systems, internal reports. Its filtering tools are very powerful and help us to create views of the information specific to each team members' needs. Especially with some team members in-person and others remote, Airtable keeps us all on the same page.

"Airtable cambia las reglas del juego para individuos Y empresas"
que es lo que mas te gusta de Airtable?

So many things! 1) FREE TO USE: The ability to use the platform for free to determine your needs and to learn how to use it properly is truly phenomenal! You get to familiarize yourself with Airtable and learn how to adapt it to your needs. 2) COMMUNITY: Whether you're a newbie or an experienced database creator/manager/developer, you can find a community in the Marketplace, Universe, and boards to exchange information, find the best template, and even provide feedback on what works and doesn't work well. 3) AFFORDABLE: Providing the platform for free is phenomenal but when your needs expand and you need to look for something more robust, you can upgrade to the level that fits your budget without BREAKING it! 4) EVOLVING: The platform is ever-evolving and the feedback provided by users is taken into account when considering updates.

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de Airtable?

While it's affordable for a single user, those who are part of a small business may find the licensing cost per seat to be outside their budget so I'd love to see a payment plan targeted at small businesses with less than 100 users to make it cost-effective.

¿Qué problemas hay? Airtable resolver y cómo te beneficia eso?

I use it to track projects (both personal and business-related) and we are now using it as an agency to maintain shared information and store shared documents. Personally, it's helped me to stay organized and meet deadlines.

"¡Excelente producto para múltiples usos!"
que es lo que mas te gusta de Airtable?

This is a versatile piece of software. I've used it for years: first, to track sales of household items when moving, then later for much more complex projects. A well-designed layout helps keep information clear and neat, whilst the functions for data are extremely powerful. I hardly scratch the surface of Airtable's capability, even with several complex bases on the go. Pros - Very powerful - Easy to use – with lots of information online to learn - Ability to capture information through forms which feed directly into a table - Multi-use - Pleasing design

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de Airtable?

Airtable is not a spreadsheet, so it takes some time to get your head around it. Once you’ve done this, it’s a helpful tool. A few frustrating niggles (such as not being able to have titles on two lines – this makes long titles with small data fields ridiculous on a spreadsheet) continue to persist. The next level up for Airtable is expensive (from the free version), but the free version does plenty.

¿Qué problemas hay? Airtable resolver y cómo te beneficia eso?

Here are two scenarios we have used as a small charity. 1. Finances: expenses, claims, bank records Airtable has made life much easier for us with our summer project finances. It allows volunteers to claim expenses through a form which collects all relevant information about the expenses, bank details for repayment and allows an image to be uploaded. This feeds into a Base (document) which also tracks bank records and reimbursements. As a non-coder, this allowed us to build a financial system that fit our needs. A few clicks gave our treasurer access, and audit trails were visible – as well as easy analysis of expenditure and income. 2. Application tracking Every year we have dozens of applications for a summer project. These applicants need to be referenced, sorted, screened, and then accepted onto relevant teams and linked with host families who can cater to each applicant's needs during their time with us. A complex system which has been made simple with Airtable. Airtable links directly to our website through the API, and neatly pulls through a PDF application and any data we need for each applicant to enable us to sort. A separate table is built for hosts, and linking these tables is a doddle with Airtable. We no longer need to retrieve information from multiple courses, re-save updated information to Dropbox (for outside volunteers) and Onedrive (for staff), and keep archival records for the future. Now Airtable does all this, and each year one central Airtable document contains all we need – and all data is easily processed or deleted according to GDPR standards.
