We managed to create a much powerful version of Facebook Groups with Tribe. It is customizable and the data is completely under the company’s control. We like the simplicity of Spaces and Collection to give a structure to the community. Easy SSO setup helped us get started quickly with a friendly login experience for our existing customers.
The app store needs to improve with more apps to select and configure. We’re waiting for virtual currency and advanced gamification features.
Our goal was to build a modern online community where our audience can share their knowledge and get help from peers. Our community is relatively new but we’re seeing good engagement and people coming together to support each other.
The platform is specifically designed for customer engagement in a modern online community or social space. It is fairly easy to configure and configurations around SSO (Single Sign-on) are straightforward. You can also embed different parts of the community into your website. We also love the customization aspect and the ability to pick and choose different apps.
They need to work more on the SEO configurations. There should be an option to add some domains into the whitelist so regular/do-follow links can be created directly from the community.
We have a really small team to manage the customer community. We wanted to create a social place so our customers can congregate in one online platform. A place where they can voice their opinions and learn from each other. So far, we have been able to do that successfully and we see Tribe as a powerful platform for customer success.
I'm loving Tribe; I feel the community has lots of functionalities and it allows an easy export of several layers of data (users, conversations, etc.). Indeed, this was one of the decisive factors which made our team choose Tribe instead of other solutions. I would definitely recommend trying (and using) it!
I would say that it is a complex community, which can be a pro too.

Super fast setup, easy learning curve, had just what we needed in terms of features.
Some features we wanted aren't currently available, but the support team and developers seem very open to and appreciative of suggestions and ideas based on our needs.
Our clients are using the platform to communicate with shareholders and family members, while others are connecting teams to resolve and share creative ideas. Another client is using the platform for customer support and a knowledge base.
Tribe is a great and easy platform to make a social media. When I found tribe I was very pleased when I saw that they had a free plan because it meant that it wouldn’t cost me anything and I was making my tribe for our family to connect over lockdown (as younger children wouldn’t have been allowed facebook or Instagram) so I looked for a safer alternative where I could add everyone and only them meaning the children wouldn’t be getting followed by strangers. Since then I have recommended Tribe to one of my friends who owns a school and they have implemented it for there students to stay in touch and also we have made one for students and staff to keep in touch in my own boarding house. For anyone who owns a business is part of a large family or would even like to start a random community with people they don’t know, i completely recommend Tribe as it is very easy to get started and their team is always happy to help.
If they had to improve something it would be really nice if they had a mobile app although you can add it to your home screen on apple devices. Another great thing would be to have more layout options like one a bit more like Instagram.
During lockdown was a tough time for everyone and keeping in touch was what kept people through it. Tribe helped us keep in touch with everyone and only those people with no worry about other people joining.
My community mostly hates using Facebook, and Tribe is a very familiar platform for us to use. We've created mentor groups inside of our Tribe as well as community leader. It has become a key way for us to communicate upcoming online events, and we are excited to continue to use more integrations of Tribe.so. Another key feature we love about Tribe is the fact that we can also have direct messaging. This has been powerful for us and our users of our product. Thank you Tribe

Tribe has been so easy to set up for this non-techy community manager! I especially appreciate all of the community support resources that are available - and that by searching through them, I'm also learning how the community can function since they use all the features they're helping support!
It’s a new format, so I don’t know how to use all the many tools yet.
We’re creating a community that will connect beta app users as well as potential users to troubleshoot issues and build support and community.
Tribe has been a brilliant addition to our organisation. Working with young people we have been able to provide them with a safe space to share and connect and to showcase their work. It's been easy to navigate and we are enjoying learning all about its features and benefits. Highly recommended.
Some issues with participants logging on through their mobiles
We are creating a safe space for young people to share with each other, creating confidence before they share publicly. We work specifically with young women and it has been great to offer them this , especially during the Coronavirus crisis. They can connect and we can oversee and moderate.
It's ability to integrate with our Saas platform and become a core integral feature we offer to our users.
I'd like to be able to filter and sort posts made by people in the community. I would also like to have notifications pop up similar to Facebook. and have highly targeted notifications/links to post that are most relevant to segments of users

Since using Tribe, I've found that the platform is easy to use and fairly intuitive. The things I haven't been able to figure out, I've been able to find really quickly through Tribe's own community page. This, by far, has been one of the easiest investments and exciting platforms I've used to date.
Some functions are unavailable at the moment, the biggest disappointment at the moment is a chat feature within the platform. There Telegram integration, which is really nice though.
The Tribe platform has allowed me to build a community of like minded individuals in an area not bombarded by ads and other nonsense.
