For both the LMS Administrator and the student, accessing the platform is simple. Uploading content from the iSpring Suite software works smoothly and creating Learning Paths within the platform is quick.
We are still stuck on the older version of the platform, thus limiting the adoption of newer features. We wish the migration process were so disruptive for existing deployments. Reporting is average and not on par with some LMS solutions like CornerStone for example.
Deliver online technical trainings to our partners and customers.
I like the basic LMS features. The admin interface is intuitive and easy to learn. The course production software iSpring Suite is really robust and correlate very will with the course presentation portion of the LMS - both in browser and apps.
I wish certain parts of the data structure were different. I want the content to be tied to the Department/Organization so it is practically possible to service multiple business units on the same system. Otherwise there are only minor issues left - iSpring has been responsive in addressing issues over the last year and a half.
We are using it to train internally. We are also training b2b. We are building an Academy training model that will serve as major educational options in the markets they are deployed. We are looking to roll iSpring out to our sales organization.
Support staff works with you and takes time to answer your questions.
Some options were not yet available . for instance, it would be be nice being able to link learning paths.
Investigating the use of iSpring web authoring tool and LMS for patient education and counselling
I was looking for an online platform that allowed me to administer the internal training of SOPs as we had been doing this manually. It was so tedious and inefficient as it was a waste of resources in every possible manner. We chanced upon iSpring Learn while sourcing for suitable solutions. iSpring Learn met all of our requirements, from its features to the implementation/subscription cost. It was the most intuitive platform among our choices, and it certainly made sense for us to subscribe to iSpring Learn as they did not require a large number of users for subscription. It was a breeze to set up the system, it took me a coupel of days to get the system up and running. So far, end users have had a positive experience using this platform.
If I really have to find something to complain about, I hope that they will eventually charge by per user subscription. The demo session could be less restrictive in terms of the functions we could test on.
It helps to automate the internal learning process as training is an important aspect of audit requirements from our key customer.
The Learning Paths are great for learning programs that are continuous and keep getting built upon.
Limitations on adding in iSpring quizzes and interactions in a seamless way.
Easy short term access to an LMS for our clients and their students.
The most valuable part of iSpring Learn is the multiple tutorials available. As a novice with no knowledge of Instructional Design and LMS platforms, iSpring has made it simple to set up and ready for use.
I don't particularly appreciate that features available without additional purchases are visible on the platform. It's very misleading that a particular function is available when it isn't
iSpring resolves the issue of not having a centralized information and learning platform.
We have been using iSpring for a couple of years now and are overall very satisfied with the product. When we have an issue we typically get a very quick response. My most recent issue was involving a quiz publishing error and I worked with Paul B. who took the time to look through my quiz history and found the reason for the error to be a glitch from a previous version. Once he told me how to fix it I asked if there was a way to find any other quizzes published with the same error and when he got back to me he stated that he went through each learning path to find a quiz and then checked the version of the quiz for me. I appreciated his dedication to helping solve this problem. I was actually expecting to hear that it would take too much time for them to look through individual courses and it would be up to us, so this was a nice surprise from him!
When using audio editing on iSpring Suite through powerpoint you do not have the same noise reduction capabilities between straight audio and a screen recording. I wish that the screen recordings had the same editing capabilities as the sound. Sometimes when we go back into a presentation after a software update it will erase the sound file or in the case of a quiz, all questions get deleted. We have had this happen on a variety of quizzes and one presentation. Even if you open the file and tell it not to save changes, this still happens.
At one point we used outside sources to provide CBT and now we can create our own and manipulate it to be exactly as we wish.
I think it's fairly intuitive. I like the Admin portal for managing the company through Departments and Groups. We have an easy setup for self-enrollment which works well. Their customer support is quick. The Admin portal features made it fairly simple to organize content. I like the Catalog organization.
My least favorite thing is the Functional or Supervisor not being able to enroll a team member in a course, from the User portal. They want you to use the Admin Portal for managers to enroll their team. But I think that is the wrong way to go.. Managers should be able to enroll in User Portal without requiring approval from the Admin. That is a waste of time.
We have compliance courses that we can auto-enroll people in. Also, the new hire auto-enrollment is very helpful - and organized. You can set up auto-enrollment by groups or departments.
It is very user friendly for both learners and trainers. I can quickly create a course, interactive quizzes, record and much more without much hassle. The best part is it has lot features at very fair prize.
Everything is working good so far for me.
It is helping automate corporate learning without any hassle. The best part is it recognises most of the file formats. Also tracking results and course effectiveness is very easy through its comprehensive reports and completion rates.
iSpring Learn has a simple tab system for navigating the site, marked with intuitively designed logos and unobtrusive labels which gently fade in when the cursor is moved overtop.
The Progress Achievement Reports which you can generate through the site are unweildy, ugly, and difficult to customize. Reports should be visually scannable for getting a quick gist, and should appear somewhat more polished.
iSpring helps the company track progress and training history for each employee in each department, and keep tabs on when employees are due for a refresher. iSping also helps the company maintain ISO certification.
We needed a solution to host a SCORM package to be delivered for faculty and staff training. In the process, of looking for a viable solution, I found iSpring and the iSpring Learn platform. Uploading the SCORM package directly from PowerPoint was incredibly easy with the included PowerPoint plugin that comes with the other iSpring tools and resources from their iSpring software suite of tools.
The process of uploading sometimes triggers a false-positive on our virus scanner. Also, emailing the exported SCORM packages from iSpring will also trigger false-positives on our email system's virus scanner. Otherwise, this doesn't seem to cause any problems with using the system, and to the best of our knowledge, all of these results have been false positives rather than actual malware or spyware.
So far, in our initial testing, it seems to do exactly what we had hoped and allows users to self-register for an account and take the online training course. This allows our users to access the content that we create and deploy as SCORM packages directly in their web browsers. The process of uploading and creating the content with the other iSpring tools make publishing the SCORM package in iSpring Learn incredibly easy.
