User friendly and convenient. Analytics is more than exceptional

I do not dislike anything about this product

I market faster. When I am not able to provide marketing info I can actually set a release timer.

All is perfect with MailChimp - amazing value for the free version, all features that you need for email and campaign management for SME

I just hope that they don't make needlessly many changes to their platform as so many others do.

Probably do user experience and the simplicity of Mailchimp. We've tried AWeber and GetResponse but Mailchimp was the easiest to use. It also integrates with LiveAgent which is a plus. Drag&Drop mail builder is handy. Automation was super easy to setup and is editable whenever I need.

Maybe the pricing is a bit higher than some competitors but I'm gladly paying a few more percents to get better usability and automation.

I love how you can personalize it while still using a template. You can upload any image you want to use in it, but make sure you know which one is in the library, it gets confusing if you've uploaded many versions of one image. I also like that as you are building the newsletter you can see approximately what it looks like and the easy click/drag features. Much easier to build than some other platforms. The reports and the analytics they provides are easy to understand so you can optimize your campaigns right away and see the results in the future.

I don't like that I'm limited in the design aspects. I would preview the newsletter sent out in both your email and in the browser, sometimes things get a little moved around/distorted in slightly different views. I wish there were more options also for design options. Instead of overall design changes, you only get design changes within each part of the layout instead of having it be applied to the whole thing which can get very time consuming.

We are solving keeping up with our clients each month as well as getting a larger social media presence since we can link all our platforms to the newsletter. We are also creating more clients through our monthly newsletter. More clients have been sharing our newsletter with their friends/colleagues etc. which is helping to grow our business.

some of the templates are hard to work around to make your own without starting from scratch

We send automated emails with group photos. We have set it up to send 2 hours after they have been added which get added when they sign a waiver and add their email. It's very convenient. We also download the email list every month and use it to send through trip advisor for reviews.

The well organized user interface and general experience. Very little learning curve with this software.

More strict than necessary policies on % of Spam Complaints, I've had accounts blocked out for less than 0.01% Abuse Rates.

I love mail chimp! It’s so user friendly and keeps us on top of our emailing for customers birthdays, events and other special emails that we send out to our loyal customers!

The only think I would change is, having an option to go back to previous emails and edit them and being able to read send.

Ease of preparation, list maintenance, easy to add images, easy to link outside, seems to reach more email addresses without being blocked compared to Constant Contact. Interface is easy to figure out. It's been easy to add a volunteer to help with editing and prepping messages.

Difficult to adjust kerning around images and text. Wish I could make the width adjustable to the screen the news appears on.

Non profit communication at no cost. It has allowed the nonprofit to communicate and keep our costs controlled as we have a zero based budget. Using MC has allowed us to schedule events and bring members back into active participation in our organization.

I first learn about MailChimp in college and since there I have been using it for my business. It is a great tool to use as a mailing service.

I wish the interface was a little easier or had Moreno options

The usability and ease-of-use has been the greatest factor for us in utilizing MailChimp. An intuitive interface, steady release of features, and just simple campaign creation make us a continual customer of the MailChimp service.

Very little to complain about with this service - if anything to pick up, having better rules for segementing marketing lists (if, and, or, but) - but nothing that is not easily overcome for your general marketing admin.

Emails were generated directly via Outlook on an Exchange server - which became harder to maintain the subscriber list and ensure everyone was receiving notifications - let alone the additional performance load on the mail server. Moving to a hosted solution allows us to communicate with our customers regardless if our infrastructure is up or down, and having a centralized location for our subscriber base helps to ensure multiple people can create, edit, and modify subscribers and campaigns.
