Dislike inventory tracking and payroll functionality

Primary data entry upload, software recognizes how to categorize much better than earlier versions pre-2010. Also, obvious cloud computing, remote access, easy to manage users, invoicing, credit card processing, receives all forms of payment, including ACH, Apple Pay. Love SOME integration with apps.

I can't compare it to the desktop version as I haven't used it in many years, but I like the linking directly to our bank account so all transactions are current and I can update it as frequently as I'd like.

It does time out and it does kick you out after periods of inactivity. Since I refer to it often throughout the day I have to keep logging in. It can be annoying.

I needed easy to use full service accounting software that wasn't a million dollars. Payroll, invoicing, bill pay are all simplified with Quickbooks.

Very user friendly! Setting up to your own taste is a breeze as well.

I do not care for the monthly cost to use it but oh well.

The main thing I have noticed was how unorganized I was and how much I needed this over a bunch of papers laying around.

Quickbooks Online make the collaboration between client and accountant a breeze! No more shuffling accountant copies of files, or trying to access the file remotely through Dropbox. Clients can be taught to use the more basic functions like day-to-day entry of deposits and bills, while bookkeepers and accountants can make their entries and run reports as needed. It's also all online, so there's no worrying about cross-platform users or the limitations of the Quickbooks for Mac. And with the QB ProAdvisor program for accountants, you get a certification badge and lots of discounts on other Intuit products. You can also use wholesale billing to give your clients customized rates for Quickbooks software.

The interface is not similar to the desktop version that so many accountants are used to seeing. The workflow is geared towards business owners, not accountants. The chart of accounts is also a little different with QBO, and there are a lot of mandatory accounts that QBO requires. QBO is definitely user friendly for business owners, but not so much for accountants making adjusting entries or changes to the client's books.

The biggest problem that Quickbooks Online solves is not having to send and receive accountant copies of files to make changes. Everything is accessible through the web, and changes to client books are immediate. This has greatly cut back on the non-billable hours of waiting for the client to send you the file, and waiting for them to upload your changes.

I like the payroll feature it makes my life so much easier, everything is integrated so it doesn't take long and is calculated for you. Definitely worth the money.

I would like to be able to open multiple tabs in one window, I also would like to see the taxes options better integrated and updated as it reminds you about setting up taxes that are already done. It would be nice to have a tab for bills that are due that day so you know you need to pay them without searching specifically each supplier.

I am solving my payroll problems, invoicing problems. I am able to easily keep track of accounts receivables. I can also quickly pay bills that are due.

I love the ease of use and great resources for learning how to use the software.

I wish certain billing features were available, like billing client jobs with a parent client.

That's an easy way to track a company's finances. And has a great deal of automation that allows a process to be made a lot quicker and simple.

I can look at my accounts anywhere, integrate the invoicing and bill payments of my clients with their accounts too. The best part is having a big community ready to help you and answers all your questions. The QuickBooks community has your back on any query.

Other features costs a bit more. Like payroll and Turbo Tax, Quickbooks offers these on a separate subscription. Though these are added costs any company needs this features.

Accounting is easier. You can generate reports real time. You can add different payment options for your clients. Automate the invoicing and bill payments . Easy interface.

I like the added function to print to my desktop - and only print the paper copies needed. Also the reporting - the save custom reports make repeat daily functions quick and easy.

I wish the invoice templates were a little more flexible regarding formatting. Also the limited font editing is not great.

Easy real time reports when ever we need them. All accounting can be done in house quickly. We work with an outside CPA - I just send him what he needs at tax time.

I like the friendly interface the best. I think it is very useful for anyone who might need QuickBooks. It is not overbearing with accounting jargon or information that a small business owner might not have.

I dislike the speed of the interface. It is not very fast on our remote desktop connection.

We are solving many small business returns and minimizing their tax liability.

I'm new to the online version of Quickbooks and like it a lot better than the desktop version.

This program is so intuitive and easy to use. It easily cuts down on the amount of work that I have to do thus cutting down on labor expenses, and easily pays for itself. The amount of time that I have saved using it has been great.

The one thing that I wish was that it was less expensive. Initially it's not bad, but after any kind of discounts or trials it can be a significant expense starting out.

I like the way that this program makes things simple compared to manual accounting. It is less labor intensive, saves time, and by extension saves money. It's also very accurate and there's no guessing, as long as all transactions are accounted for if the calculations are correct.

QB Online makes it so easy to track expenses for a small business. Even helps you keep personal separate from business.

The bank syncing does not function properly with all types of banks and all types of accounts. Wish they would fix this!

QB Online helps make 1099s for vendors so easy come January!
