Easy and simple to understand for people without an accounting background. Constantly updated to reflect changing needs of the users. Large number of apps and add-ons that can make the software more customisable.
Inventory side of the program is still lacking in comparison to other programs. No way to use if the servers/internet are down.
We use it internally for own invoicing and accounting needs, as well as setting up our own accounting clients on the software. It's ease of use is making it more simple to teach our clients how to utilise.
We love the fact that you can integrate other apps into it, to aid better business intelligence. Everything you could need is within loads of reporting documents.
Would love more free intergrated apps to work with xero, and wish that the bank accounts would stay connected as sometimes they will drop out.
It helps us keep a better eye on our expenses so we don't over spend and lets us know when invoices haven't been paid yet.

Xero is very friendly to use .Quite cheap in cost comparing to QBO.

Xero is very user friendly. It is great for individuals who are newer to accounting with training modules. It's also great for a small team by using automation
The biggest downside was how unique the email for invoices was. It has a lot of special characters so it can be a challenge if you are trying to share with a vendor over the phone.
Quicker accounting systems and automation
Ease of access, it can easily and most affordable accounting software available in the market. All the educational videos easily available on Youtube and Xero's portal
It's occasionally updated on a quarterly basis and adds a new feature to update the existing one. Sometimes it creates inconvenience to use. Customer care available only through email.
Earlier I was preparing the financials in excel but in recent changes in the UK for filing the VAT return through MTD. I was looking for an affordable yet best software in the budget.
Great look and feel (user interface) and is well laid out - much better than MYOB online which I use to administer my local model railway club. It just seems like more thought has been put into it. From what I can see, plenty of accountants use it themselves and support it (more than MYOB or Quickbooks, I reckon).
Nothing springs to mind - it just works!

Xero is extremely easy to use and has fantastic integration capabilities for business owners. In addition, the app allows individuals to sort their finances easily.
Although I do LOVE Xero it would be wonderful to have a FREE service available for business owners just starting to learn about the power of accounting software.

User interface. Out of all the bookkeeping and accounting applications I have put my hands on, Xero is the easiest one to navigate and understand. The simple interface and color scheme just makes sense.
I cannot think of anything. Some people say that reports can be tricky to customise, but If one tries to understand the key functions everything can be done easily.
